Subscriber Benny

I recently made some changes to the welcome email for the subscribers. It now includes a free short story as a way of saying thank you for subscribing. It occurred to me that perhaps all of you who are already subscribers might like a free short story as well.

So, without further gilding the lily, and no more adieu, I give you Desperate Ground. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
